Privacy Policy
In accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
1. Controller
Responsible for data processing on this website:
Peter Phillip Aradi
Spheric Pulsar Production
Postfach 0009, Europaplatz 10
8020 Graz, Austria
Email: business@spheric-pulsar-production.art
No data protection officer is required by law. Please direct any data protection enquiry, including requests under Sections 7, to the address above.
2. Principle: No Cookies, No Tracking
This website does not use any cookies whatsoever – neither technical nor tracking cookies. No analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), no advertising networks, and no social media plugins that transmit data to third parties are used.
No tracking of your activities on this website takes place. Apart from the server log files described in Section 3, no personal data is collected or stored, and no personal data is shared with third parties.
Instead of cookies, two entries are kept in your browser's session storage: the playback volume you set, and a note that the opening animation has already been shown during this session. Both are discarded as soon as you close the tab. In addition, a service worker stores copies of the site's content in an offline cache so the site remains usable without a connection. That cache persists until you clear it.
None of these entries contains an identifier, allows you to be recognised, or is transmitted anywhere. There is no audience measurement, no profiling and no sharing with third parties. The volume entry simply applies a setting you chose yourself. The other two serve the presentation and offline availability of the site. No consent banner is used, because these entries permit no analysis relating to an individual. You can clear session storage and the offline cache at any time in your browser settings.
Sections 2 to 5 describe this public website. Licensing customers additionally receive access to a separate licensing area, which is described in Section 6.
3. Hosting and Server Log Files
When visiting this website, the hosting provider may automatically store technical information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits. This may include:
- IP address (possibly anonymised)
- Date and time of access
- Requested page / file name
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website). This data is not merged with other data sources.
Hosting is provided by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, acting as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR on the basis of Hostinger's Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of its terms of service. The servers are located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Backups are stored in France. The log files are managed technically by the hosting provider and deleted automatically once they are no longer required for the operation and security of the website. The specific period is set by the provider. Through the administration panel, the controller has access to the last seven days of request data only. The controller does not inspect, store or analyse these log files beyond that.
Hostinger in turn engages sub-processors, including providers established in the United States. Where personal data is transferred to a third country as a result, the transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). The current list of sub-processors is available at hostinger.com/legal/dpa.
4. External Links
This website contains links to external services (streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music). When clicking these links, you leave this website. The respective provider is responsible for the data protection practices of these external services. Reviewing the privacy policies of those services is recommended.
External links are marked with the attribute rel="noopener noreferrer"
to prevent the target page from gaining access to the browser window of this website.
5. No Data Collection via Forms
This website does not contain any contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or other input fields through which personal data could be collected. Enquiries are received by email. The handling of that correspondence is described in Section 6.
6. Licensing Area
Music licensing is handled outside this public website, on a separate subdomain (licensing.spheric-pulsar-production.art, the “licensing area”). It is not publicly accessible and is not indexed by search engines. Access is granted exclusively through a private link issued to you. There is no registration, no user account, and no password for you to manage. This section applies only if you enquire about a licence or hold one.
6.1 Enquiries and contract data
If you enquire about a licence, the data you provide by email is processed by the controller. In order to issue an offer and a licence agreement, the details required for the contract are processed in addition: name, company, billing address, email address and, where applicable, the VAT identification number, together with the terms of the licence itself (works, scope of use, territory, term, fee).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures). Providing this data is not a statutory requirement, but without it a licence agreement cannot be concluded or invoiced.
The customer details listed above are stored in encrypted form. Data is not passed on to third parties, is not used for advertising, and is not merged with other data sources. Beyond the hosting provider (see Section 3), no processors are involved.
6.2 Access to the catalogue and licence pages
The private pages issued to you record when a page was opened, which track was played, and when a file was downloaded. This serves solely to establish which works were made available and to document the delivery owed under the contract. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in evidencing the delivery of licensed material).
These records contain a timestamp and the item concerned. They do not contain IP addresses, browser identifiers or any other data capable of identifying an individual visitor. The pages set no cookies, contain no analytics tools and load no content from third parties. Independently of this, the hosting provider maintains the server log files described in Section 3.
6.3 Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are erased once it is clear that they will not be pursued further. Contract data and licence agreements are retained for the statutory retention period under commercial and tax law (in Austria generally seven years pursuant to § 132 BAO) and, beyond that, for as long as is necessary to evidence the rights granted – a licence typically applies without a time limit, and it must remain possible to demonstrate what was agreed and when. Access records of the licensing area are erased once they are no longer required for that purpose.
7. Your Rights under GDPR
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) – Right to obtain information about your processed data
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – Right to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) – Right to deletion of your data
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
Visiting this public website does not itself generate any personal data on the part of the controller (see Sections 2 to 5), so in that context these rights have little to act upon. If you have enquired about a licence or hold one, they apply in full to the data described in Section 6. To exercise them, please write to business@spheric-pulsar-production.art. The right to erasure may be limited by the statutory retention periods set out in Section 6.3.
